Osakis Fire Dept & 1st Responders receive grant from Center Point Energy

The Osakis Fire Dept and 1st Responders were presented with a Community Safety Grant in the amount of $2,500.00 to be used towards the purchase of safety equipment.

Center Point Energy Community Safety Program offers an opportunity for Center Point Energy to invest in the communities they serve. For over 150 years they have partnered with communities supporting their shared commitment to safety while delivering safe, reliable natural gas. Since 2003, this program has awarded more than $3 million to support more than 1,500 safety-related projects in communities throughout Center Point Energy’s service area. Through this program, they help cities leverage local funds to purchase necessary safety equipment and support safety projects that are important to our community.
