Full Time Maintenance Position

City of Osakis (pop 1771) is accepting resumes for a full time Maintenance Worker.  Responsibilities include: but are not limited to, assisting the street and park maintenance departments with plowing snow, mowing; parks, streets, and building maintenance, works well with others and represents the City of Osakis in a professional manner. The position is will maintain park and city proper grounds and buildings, will assist in performing backwashing and filter maintenance; water system and sewer system maintenance.

Minimum qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent, Class B MN with air brake Driver’s License or able to obtain, Experience operating street equipment and park lawn mowing equipment, and maintenance of equipment.

Desired qualifications: Class B MN Commercial Driver’s License with an air brake endorsement, carpentry and/or mechanic skills.  Wage range is $20.79 to $29.11 per hour, DOQ.  Benefits include: Paid health insurance, HSA, public retirement.
