Transforming Central Park
Currently Central Park is a vacant lot on the corner of Central Avenue and Main Street. With the proposed plan, the park would be transformed into an inviting area for visitors and residents to gather at picnic tables under pergolas while watching a performance of either music or a movie for movie night on the performance stage or other community events during the summer months. In the winter months, the grass area would be transformed into the skating rink with overhead lighting and possibly music to skate to. These proposed plans would create a wonderful atmosphere and become a great centerpiece for the City of Osakis. The proposal would also allow for electric vehicle plug ins. Watch for updates as they happen.
