Meeting was called to order by Mayor Gary Astleford at 4:30pm.

Pledge of Allegiance was spoken

Present: Gary Astleford, Keith Emerson, James Tholen, Bruce Pederson, Lloyd Hagemann

Absent: None

Council interviewed the following applicants:

Water/Wastewater Superintendent

• 4:00 Ronald Kleinschmidt
• 5:00 Gary Klovstad

The council asked additional questions to each applicant and they address any questions and concerns from them.

Council stated they felt they were both very good applicants and it will be a hard choice.

The council decided to take a silent vote for the candidate for the superintendent position, the votes were opened to reveal that Ron Kleinschmidt had the most votes.

Council asked the clerk to send Gary Klovstad a letter stating they were very pleased with his qualifications and he could use us as a reference for any future jobs.

Motion by Pederson seconded by Tholen to hire Ron Kleinschmidt at $44,662 and offer him12 days of vacation, pending a background check coming back ok, all ayes.

Motion by Emerson seconded by Pederson to adjourn the meeting at 5:25pm, all ayes.
