Special Meeting
April 24, 2006
7:30 PM
Mayor Astleford called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM
Present: Astleford, Pederson, Emerson, Timmerman, Hagemann
Absent: None
Project # 42 – Clean up Day
Councilmember Timmerman thinks we should raise the fee for dumping.
Recommendation from Clerk is to keep the charge at $5.00 per pickup or pickup box size trailer at $5.00. If the trailer is twice the size as the $5.00 charge have the citizen pay $10.00. The workers should be able to use their own judgment as to the charge.
Motion by Timmerman seconded by Pederson to approve the change and put the ad in the paper, all ayes.
Project # 343 – Fire Works
The total donations or pledges received as of 4/24/2006 is $550.00
Timmerman is to approach LORA for donations.
To be discussed at the May 1st meeting.
Project # 360 – Employee
The council received the resumes for the Deputy Clerk Position.
The council was to bring to the meeting their top two applicants to be interviewed.
The council received a list of questions to ask and were to add questions as needed.
Interviews are set for May 3rd starting at 4:30 pm the following people are to be called for an interview.

Motion by Emerson seconded by Timmerman to adjourn meeting at 8:02pm, all ayes.
