Special Meeting

July 26, 2005

10:00 AM

Mayor Astleford called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM 

Present: Hagemann, Astleford, Emerson, Timmerman

Absent: None 

Project #317 – Council Vacancy 

Councilmember Hagemann presented a Resolution seconded by Emerson to accept Councilmember Nordstrom’s resignation and declare a vacancy exists.  When put to a vote this Resolution passed unanimously. 

The following residents have expressed interest in the Council Position: 

Jerry Olson

Pete Marcotte

Bruce Pederson

Larry Dillehay

Ken Grossell

Carol Mihalchick

Jan Moore

Curtis Kalpin 

A ballot vote was taken and there was a tie between Jerry Olson and Bruce Pederson.  Mayor broke the tie and chose Bruce Pederson. 

The Mayor will administered the Oath of Office on August 1^st, 2005 

Project # 363 – Industrial Park 

Emerson updated the council on the EDA meeting.  The EDA committed $30,000 to the Industrial Park Grant.  EDA will not proceed with Industrial Park Improvements if the grant is not received. 

Emerson moved to advertise for a Superintendent Position with 5 years experience seconded by Hagemann, all ayes. 

Emerson moved to adjourn seconded by Hagemann, all ayes.
