Osakis City Council
Special Meeting
April 20, 2005
8:00 PM
Mayor Astleford called the meeting to order at 8:00 PM
The pledge of Allegiance was spoken.
Present: Hagemann, Astleford, Emerson, Timmerman, Nordstrom
Absent: None
Project # 39 – Comprehensive Plan
Turned the meeting over to Karin Tank.
Council decided to move the schedule back a month to start in May instead of April.
Survey was discussed – mail out separately not with water bill, mail to anyone owning property in Osakis.
Suggestions for committee: Advisory will be Mark Gilson, Reggie Redetzke, and Tom Klemenhagen; other suggestions are: Newman Olson, Lyla Engfer, John Peterka, Ken Pomerleau, Laura Backes, Neil Gillis, and Sue Sunderman.
Karin will give the City Clerk a packet each council person can take with to ask the individuals to be on the committee.
The committee will be appointed by the council on May 2, 2005 Regular Meeting.
There will be a press release after the committee is established.
First meeting for committee will be May 11th at 7:00pm.
Motion by Hagemann seconded by Nordstrom to adjourn, all ayes,
Meeting adjourned 9:15PM.
