Present: John Peterka, Kip Emerson, Bonnie Schultz, Gary Astleford, Jan Flolid,

Others Present: Angela Jacobson Absent: Dave Zerr, Rod Femrite

President John Peterka called the meeting to order at 4:00pm

Motion by Astleford seconded by Flolid to approve the agenda with the addition of the Industrial Park and Industrial Park Sign, All Ayes.

Motion by Flolid seconded by Schultz to approve the General Consent Items, All Ayes.

Osakis Properties – Paul and Julie Backes received their $500 back for the lot they were going to purchase. They are not having any luck selling their home.

West Central Community Action has sold the house at 607 7th Ave W, other than those, no changes in Osakis Properties.

OEDC – No money received

VFW – Received $150 in April

Motion by Astleford seconded by Flolid to approve $150 to the Central Lakes Cruzers, all ayes.

Integrated Manufacturing –Payments have been received and are up to date. Last payment was a couple days late.

New Business – Bonnie received information about a "Community Stewardship Project". There is a two-day retreat on May 1 and May 2 at the Tech College. No members present can attend on short notice. Ask for information on the next meeting earlier.

Industrial Park Sign – Ron Kleinschmidt has put the sign post and old sign up on Rush Street and 1st Ave East if the EDA does not have any objections to the location he will put the new sign up. The EDA was ok with the location.

Industrial Park - Clerk Jacobson presented a price list and map of the Industrial Park and locations. This would be handed out to anyone interested and put on the website. After the weather gets nice pictures will be taken of each lot to be put on the website also. Jacobson will look into putting a brochure box on the sign for putting pamphlet information in. EDA agreed to put the information on the website.

Blue Ox Timber Frames – Clerk Jacobson and Traci Ryan are having no luck contacting the company. Jacobson contacted Cole from Counselor Realty regarding what Blue Ox is looking at, and they liked the location and building but there are pending assessments of $42,000 after this year’s project.

Motion by Flolid seconded by Schultz to have Clerk Jacobson contact Traci with the information about Blue Ox Timber and send her the Do. Co. EDA resolution, and let her know they are looking somewhere else and the option to swap JOBZ, and have Traci contact Jason Murray regarding getting some financing put together to help them move to Osakis, all ayes

EDA received information on the parade and the consensus was not to pledge.

Motion by Flolid seconded by Astleford to adjourn the meeting at 4:40pm, All Ayes.
